you should lower the strength a bit to like 9 or 10 and add those attributes to axe because your only using 2 strength req skills. also maybe lower tactics to 11 to add more to axe/strength. this might be changing the build a bit but this might be a little more effective--take out charging strike for sprint, shield bash for auspicious parry (elite) and penetrating chop for bulls stike. it bassicaly does the same thing except you can use auspicous parry more often than shield bash and it also gives you adrenline. auspicious parry can also black arrows making it a little more useful and it gives you time to use healing signet.

bash can block arrows it just doesnt knock arrowshooter down.bash also disables the skill u blocked for an additional 15(i think its wrong ingame it was 20 yesterday) SECONDS and knocks down attacker.i can still pump damage from charging ieven when skillblocking stances are up b/c its not an attack skill.i can also run really fast w/ this

no its not? You're having a laugh right? Str = worst primary attribute in the game. It sucks. Does virtually nothing (apart from increasing usage of skills). If you want more dmg - pump up your weapon mastery.

I see that you use Tactics just for Healing Signet, then drop it use Lion's Comfort instead. Pump up your weapon skill.
Btw, strength does not suck. People who use them poorly is.

Using tactics for just healsig is fine, its worth it. The build is bad, you have too many adrenal attacks, and bad ones at that. Shield bash is kind of a waste of a slot.

While Strength has some good skill having played warrior from the time I got the game I truely find it to be the worst of all primary attributes. Getting plus armor penetration will not score for higher damage then if you pump up your weapon mastery. There are some excellent skills there to be used but running more then 10 seems to be over doing it IMO. I would rather run 14weapon and 10/10 tac/stre. Shield bash is trash for that I would rather run another defensive stance of better yet a IAS. Also I penetrating chop for utility is pretty bad as it does your team no good which I would rather run prot strike or bull strike.

You should tell us if this is PvP or PvE..
Quote:
When you use attack skills, each point of Strength gives you 1% armor penetration. Many skills, especially those related to surviving and inflicting damage, become more effective with higher Strength.
|
So.. you get a 13% increase of armor penetration when you use attack skills and remember you're using AXE Mastery Attack Skills, not Strength based attack skills.
Let's compare that to a 16 Axe/9 Str/11 Tactics Warrior.
You = 12/13/12 Me = 16/9/11
Dismember: You = 17 sec / Me = 21 sec
Agonizing Chop: You = +17 / Me = +21
Axe Rake: You = +8 / Me = +11
Penetrating Chop: You = +17 / Me = +21
Shield Bash(IF I was to use this skill, but you won't see me using it): You = 10 sec / Me = 9 sec
I do roughly 4 more damage while you do 4% more armor penetration. I can even make my distribute 16/10/10. Now you do only 3% more. I'll take my extra damage over your extra percent of armor penetration. My Shield Bash would last 1 second less than yours would.

A lot of strength skills rock but as an attribute it sucks bigtime, unless you need it for some reason (to do with skills) dont bump your strength above your weapon mastery.

The problem with the Strength Attribute is that most people think that its worthless. Strength based attacks mostly cost NRG - Couple these attacks with Warriors Endurance - Or if you can get the timing right Flourish and you have an almost inexhaustable Spammage of knockdown, interrupts and xtra damage. And quite a few regen skills to counter degen. A lot of good skills in the Strength tree are mainly PvP to counter Kiting and speed bursts to run down those pesky squishies in the background. If you're going PvE then there are a lot of good skills in Tactics than you may consider for more durability. Id have to agree that 1 percent armour penetration as the bonus for the primary for Warriors is pretty pathetic, but the skills that get boosted by strength are pretty dam cool.

i like to use
12+3+1 Weapon mastery
9+1 strength
the rest+1 tactics
but i admit strength as ur primary attribute is a bunch of rubbish

-.-
When I switched from Max Axe (16) to 14 and pumped my Str to 15 (I was testing out stuff, so I had max runes on), I killed 25% faster -.-
Counterattack is awesome.
I run 15 Axe 14 Str atm (haven't played with my War for a while, so 2 Sup Runes), maybe it's time I find a new build -.-
